While our knowledge of canned seafood typically starts and ends with Chicken of the Sea (sorry, Charlie!), Spain has been hip to the wonders of conservas since the 19th century. At Bar Biscay, we’re big fans of the many ways these seasonal pristine ingredients can be turned into an incredible meal. Join Executive Chef Johnny Anderes as he demonstrates how to master the art of jazzing up conservas at home with a hot and cold dish, each paired with a beverage. A portion of proceeds will be donated to My Block, My Hood, My City, a local non-profit whose mission is rooted in helping teenagers overcome poverty and isolation through providing new experiences and exposing them to possibilities beyond their own communities.
